The ex-stronger country of Europe seems that faces serious problems in European Union.
Germany is not the ‘Boss in Europe’ anymore and Trump is not the President of USA to support each choice of this country.
Furthermore, Germany is running the last presidency in Europe and at the same time facing enormous problems: the pandemic of covid-19, the Brexit, the passage of the EU budget and coronavirus rescue package (where certain European countries don’t agree).
The chancellor seems to try very hard to keep balance against pressure of Turkey and at the same time, France appears more desisive in foreign policy and in Mediterranean area.
Will it be the last dance? Time will show very shortly. / P.D.
